What we collect, and what we do not.

Written plainly, because a policy nobody can read protects nobody. If something here is unclear, write to the office and a person will answer.

Privacy policy

You can read every recording, book excerpt and study guide on this site without telling us anything about yourself. Nothing on this site asks you to identify yourself in order to reach the teachings.

If you give us your email address

You are asked for an email address in one place only: when you request a guide or ask to be written to. It is used to send you what you asked for, and occasional letters from the Foundation. Every letter carries an unsubscribe link, and using it removes you at once.

Those addresses are held for us by Brevo, an email service. We do not sell, rent, trade or share your address with anyone else.

If you write to us

The message form on the contact page opens your own mail program, so a message reaches the Foundation as ordinary email. It is read at the office in South Miami and kept as correspondence. Your address is used to reply, and for nothing else.

If you give to the Foundation

Gifts are handled by Givebutter, which processes the payment and issues the receipt. Card details are entered on their system, not ours — the Foundation never sees or stores them.

What is measured, and why

This site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies in your browser and records which pages are visited, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and how people arrive. It is used for one purpose: to learn which teachings people are actually looking for, so the collection can be made easier to search.

We do not use it to identify you. If you would rather not be counted, your browser's privacy settings or Google's own opt-out add-on will stop it, and the site will work exactly as before.

The Foundation advertises through the Google Ad Grants programme for nonprofits. If you arrive from one of those advertisements, Google records that the visit happened.

Ordinary server records

The site is served by Vercel, which keeps the usual short-term records every web server keeps — the address a request came from, the page asked for, the time. They are used to keep the site running and secure.

Other people's pages

Links leave here for YouTube, the Foundation's shop, the members' site and elsewhere. Once you follow one, that service's own practices apply, not this page.

Children

This site is meant for adults and does not knowingly collect anything from children under thirteen.

Asking to see it, or to be removed

Write to the office and ask. We will tell you what is held, correct it, or delete it. You do not need to give a reason, and nothing is asked of you in return.
